Available Student Jobs

The job opportunities within IT Services are almost as varied as the students who attend Hobart and William Smith Colleges. There are a few year-round job opportunities, but most are part-time during the school year.

» Lab Monitors: Responsible for maintaining five computer labs in the library, they answer student questions, make sure printers are functioning correctly, and prepare the labs for classroom use. Apply here.

» Classroom and Event Support Technicians: Technicians support media in the classroom and provide live sound support, audio and video recording and production for campus events. Apply here.

» Student Help Desk Technicians: Provide technical support to faculty, staff and students morning, noon and night. Apply here.

» Instructional Technologists: Instructional technologists can assist with lesson plans, Power Point presentations, Blackboard, database development and multimedia. Apply here.
