We are guided by what we learned on campus, and the friends we made there are unlike any we knew before—or have met since. Alumni & Alumnae Affinity Organizations
The Afro-Latino Alumni/Alumnae Association, the Heron Society and the Statesmen Athletic Association are groups of Alumni/ae whose special connection to each other keeps them actively involved in the Colleges. Their ongoing work, events and activities are living examples of their unique experience at HWS.

Speakers Series
Each year, dozens of speakers visit Hobart and William Smith to discuss topics of interest to students, faculty members, alumni/ae and community members. Many are national and international figures. Some are policy makers or social activists. Others are intellectuals who have written books or are studying new scientific advances. All will engage you in conversation that is both interesting and thought provoking.
