Bristol Pool

Home of the William Smith swimming and diving team, the Swimming Pool in Bristol Gymnasium is in close proximity to the Colleges' sports medicine staff and sports equipment coordinators.

Built in 1965, Bristol Gymnasium houses a full size basketball court with seating for 1,500 and a six-lane 25-yard swimming pool with two 1-meter, and one 3-meter diving boards. There is also a mezzanine level spectator-seating area overlooking the water, as well as an underwater viewing window for coaches to observe and critique swimmers' strokes.

Heron Locker Rooms The pool has hosted Finger Lakes High School League and Section V Championships.

New locker rooms (pictured) added to Bristol Gym in 1996 serve as team rooms for William Smith athletes and their opponents.
