Joseph Abraham Awards

Joseph Abraham served the Colleges from 1946 until 1981 as a professor, trainer, and athletic director. He was inducted into the Hobart Athletics Hall of Fame on April 22, 1988. Abraham's dedication to the Colleges is remembered annually through two awards: The Joseph Abraham Training Room Award and The Joseph Abraham Sports Medicine Prize.

The Joseph Abraham Training Room Award

This award is presented to the student athlete who has persevered through injury to excel at his or her sport.

Joseph Abraham Sports Medicine Prize

The Abraham prize is given to student trainers, team managers, support staff, and equipment assistants who have devoted their time to making Hobart and William Smith athletics a better place.
