Campus Activities Board (CAB)
Our Mission
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) works to enhance the
Hobart and William Smith community. We plan a variety of events that compliment
the mission of the colleges. Our goal is to provide events and social
programs for students to get involved on campus.
Our History
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) originated in 2001. In the past year
CAB has grown tremendously by creating a programming model where events
are planned for students by students. The Campus Activities Board
consists of a dedicated group of students who work to provide opportunities
for all students to get involved on campus.
About CAB
The members of CAB contribute to their organization in a variety of ways.
The students review programming material and press kits. CAB surveys the
general student population in order to find out what types of activities
students at HWS are interested in having on campus. They plan the programming
schedule, execute, and assess the events that they sponsor at HWS. At
many events you will see CAB members greeting performers that they bring
to campus, introducing them at events, and evaluating the performance
after the program.
How's Our Driving?
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) strives to achieve their goal to create
a programming model that is student driven. We work hard to plan events
for students by students. In order to achieve this goal…we need
to hear from you! Please take a minute to let us know what you think about
the programs that CAB has planned for you. Your feedback about our events
will help us to ensure that we are meeting your needs.
