GHB

GHB (gammahydroxybutyrate) is abused for euphoric, sedative, and anabolic (body building) effects. GHB, like rohypnol, has been associated with sexual assaults in cities throughout the United States. In studies done in New York City, Detroit, and Atlanta, liquid GHB is being used in nightclubs as a "date rape" drug. Coma and seizures can occur following abuse of GHB and, when combined with methamphetamine, there appears to be an increased risk of seizure.
